Our motto is a Giovanni Pico della Mirandola's [8] quote : "de omni re scibili" (from every knowable thing). This brilliant humanist is a model because of his inquiring mind, his freedom of thinking, and his courage.

Our logo is formed by the Claude Bernard's [7] gravure and by a stylized drawing of an Erlenmeyer flask and an optical microscope. It puts the emphasis on the experimentation in research processes. This emblematic figure of experimental sciences is also a model because of his ingeniousness, his pragmatism, and his obstinacy to prove hypothesis by experimentation.

8-10-2006 :: The Events page is created and a picture is found for the Welcome page!

We have found a funny picture for the Welcome page. It shows the Count of Champignac [6] making an experiment with mushrooms. This fictional character (Spirou and Fantasio comic books) is attractive because of its scientist ingeniousness and also its humanity.

5-10-2006 :: Sciences Lab is born!

The concept is the generalization of the www.mathematics-lab.org site. Sciences-Lab is an organization specialized in scientific research. It will provide collaborative spaces to share ideas, material and equipments but also to make science (modeling, experimentation design, data-gathering, data analysis, etc.). The actual site comprises only the menu. All pages are under construction.
